At FLS Tree Care we understand the importance of implementing a strict health and safety procedures in all our operations, and are committed to minimising the risk to the welfare and safety of our staff, customers and the general public.
We carry out detailed site and risk assessment prior to commencement of any work, and we undertake
Continuous staff training. This is carried out by external training providers ensuring both staff and management are fully aware of new developments within the industry and safety issues pertaining to clients and customers. On request, we can provide details of our compliance to include Risk Assessments, Method Statements and assessments relating to LOLER, PUWER, PPE, COSHH and RIDDOR etc

It is our objective to find the optimum balance between company activities and respect for nature and the environment
The type of work we undertake is intended to have a positive impact on the environment and are not aimed at being in any way destructive.

‘Our commitment wherever possible is to lessen our environmental impact by:

• Planning and ergonomic work methods and systems
• Using bio-degradable chainsaw oil
• Purchasing of materials that environmentally friendly
• Purchasing equipment designed to reduce environmental impact

• Working within guidelines set out in the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, the Countryside Rights of Way Act 2000, the Control of Pesticides Regulations 1986 and Part III of the Food and Environment Protection Act 1985.
